Flash storage solutions maker SanDisk has launched a new lineup of mobile memory solutions, led by the world’s highest capacity microSD card for mobile devices, the SanDisk 200GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card, Premium Edition, which will be available in the local market in the third quarter of the year.
The other new flash storage offerings include the iXpand flash drive, Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0, and Dual Flash Drive with USB Type-C connector.
SanDisk 200GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card, Premium Edition
SanDisk claims that in just one year after introducing its record-breaking 128GB Ultra microSDXC card, it has increased storage capacity by 56% within the same body size.
Ideal for Android smartphone and tablet users, this card combines its highest capacity and fast transfer speed of up to 90MB to deliver premium performance. Using a USB 3.0 reader, the card can transfer 1,200 photos per minute based on average file size of 3.5MB. This card is water proof, temperature proof, shock proof, X-ray proof, and magnet proof.
This Premium Edition microSD card has an updated Memory Zone app where users will have even greater control over the memory storage of their mobile devices. Available for free download, the app is compatible with most Android-based devices and allows users to easily locate, organize, transfer and back up data.
The card, which comes with a 10-year warranty, will be available at all SanDisk authorized resellers in the Philippines in the third quarter of 2015.
iXpand Flash Drive
The easiest way to transfer photos and videos from an iPhone or iPad to PCs and Mac computers is through iXpand Flash Drive, which is available in 16GB storage and can expand up to 128GB. This is done without cables, Internet connections or bandwidth limitations but still maintain the original photo or video resolution quality.
With an iXpand sync app, the flash drive can be configured to automatically copy photos and videos from the camera roll to the drive when it is plugged into an iPhone or iPad. Users can also store their favorite movies on the iXpand flash drive and play them directly from the drive on their iPhone or iPad.

When the device is connected, the Memory Zone app auto-launches, and allows users to easily manage and transfer content between their mobile devices and the drive.
Offering a two-year warranty, this dual USB drive will be available in the Philippines in June 2015 with a suggested retail price of PhP4,199.
