It has a legroom that is 28mm wider and 50mm longer. The Celerio also offers a 254-liter luggage capacity.

For fuel-efficiency, the K10B three-cylinder engine produces a maximum output of 67 hp @ 6,000 rpm and 90 Nm @3,500 rpm. It has the same level of aerodynamic performance as the previous model which also contributes to the car’s efficient fuel consumption.

The new model also boasts of an improved 5-speed manual transmission with 40% torque loss reduction for better fuel efficiency.

Suzuki also improved the Celerio’s suspension, which is 3.5 kgs lighter. Suzuki says the car’s rear torsion beam with coil spring makes a more comfortable and stable ride.

Equipped with electric power steering and electronic-controlled door lock and windows, the new Celerio model’s security features include an Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), dual airbags, collapsible steering column, side impact beams, as well as the high mount stop lamp and defogger.
