Globe launches myLifestyle Plan

Designed to suit the needs of its customers depending on the kind of lifestyle they have, Globe Telecom has launched the new myLifestyle Plan, a postpaid plan offer for those who have embraced data and content usage on their mobile phones.

Starting at P499 a month, Globe postpaid customers can have access to an easier and simplified plan offer packed with built-in unlimited calls and texts to Globe and TM. Along with this are freebies such as Navigation Bundle which gives customers all day, all month access to apps such as Waze, Grab Taxi, Google Maps, MMDA, and Accuweather, 1GB Globe Cloud for easy and hassle-free storage of files and photos, and Gadget Care to allow customers to protect their devices against theft and accidental damage.

“Beyond texting and calling, we are aware that our customers now use their phones to access music, social networks, games, photos and videos, among others. This is the inspiration behind the new myLifestyle Plan, which gives customers unlimited calls and texts to Globe and TM, so they no longer have to think about how many calls and texts they need, but rather focus on what digital lifestyle they want to pursue with their mobile connectivity with our wide range of surf and lifestyle packs,” said Erli Valdez, VP for Postpaid Business at Globe.

In addition, Globe has introduced digital lifestyle promo options for its customers to choose from. The base plan of P449, together with all promo options chosen by customers, will be combined to arrive at customer’s monthly service fee (MSF). Depending on MSF, customers can choose from a wide range of free devices and gadgets the handset of their choice. The more services customers add on top of the base plan, the better the phone they can get.

The promo options include Surf Packs, Lifestyle Packs, and Classic Packs.

Postpaid customers can avail of add-on services like Surf Packs for their mobile Internet requirements which are bundled with exclusive access to Spotify and/or NBA League Pass. Customers can choose what they need from GoSURF99 for 100MB of mobile Internet every month to as much as 15GB monthly with GoSURF2499.

Customers can also select from any of the Lifestyle Packs which consists of Music (Spotify), Productivity (Work Bundle for access to Evernite, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Globe Cloud), Life (Navigation Bundle, Explore Bundle for access to Agoda, Cebu Pacific, PAL, and Trip Advisor; and Shopping Bundle for access to Amazon, AyosDito, eBay, OLX, and Zalora), and Social (Chat Bundle for access to Viber or Facebook Messenger, KakaoTalk, Line, WeChat, and WhatsApp; Photo Bundle for access to Instagram, InstaSize, Photo Grid, and Photo Report; ChatApp for access to Viber or Facebook Messenger; and standalone access to Facebook or Twitter).

There is also the Classic Packs where customers can get extra calls and texts to other networks, as well as landline and international services.

In 2014, Globe’s postpaid customer base reached 2.3 million, a growth of 12% compared with the 2.0 million reported the previous year. Revenues from mobile postpaid business likewise rose by 11%, from 27.1 billion in 2013 to P29.9 billion generated last year. The revenues represented 38% of the company’s total mobile revenues.
