Harman International Industries, Inc. has introduced stylish and portable audio systems that make use of Bluetooth and Near Field Communications (NFC) to allow the user to seamlessly access and stream any music from his gadgets.
The new audio solutions are the Harman Kardon Omni Wireless HD, Harman Kardon Esquire Mini, JBL Pulse and JBL Flip 2.
Powered by Blackfire Research wireless media technology, the Omni Wireless HD systems consist of Adapt plug-in, and Omni 10 and Omni 20 loudspeakers, both of which produces high-quality sound as these support 24-bit/96kHz Studio Quality HD audio streaming with higher resolution than from a CD.
With the use of Harman Kardon app or Bluetooth connectivity, a user can seamlessly access and stream any music from his gadgets, favorite streaming services like Spotify, etc. or his favorite music apps. Users can customize applications that can work with the system to suit their needs and preferences.
Available in white and black versions, the Omni 10 and Omni 20 loudspeakers can be combined to serve as standalone speakers, and can be connected up to five to create a full multi-channel speaker system. And since Omni loudspeakers are wireless, users can easily position them to fine-tune the sound anywhere in their room.
A first-of-its-kind HD wireless adapter for home stereo system, the Harman Kardon Adapt upgrades existing Hi-Fi gear to a wireless system to deliver better sound quality at the touch of a button. The plug-in lets users play different music in every room, or stream the same song throughout the house in party mode.
Mark Ng, Harman’s Business Development Manager, said that Omni 10 and Omni 20 have the ability to maintain their clarity at any volume a user desires.
Ng also said that Omni 10 and Omni 20 will be available in the Philippine market in the latter part of December 2014 or early January 2015.
Esquire Mini
Another Bluetooth-enabled wireless sound system is the Harman Kardon Esquire Mini which is designed for full stereo streaming and doubles as a conference phone system with dual-microphone and built-in echo- and noise- cancellation for high-quality sound and crystal-clear conference calling.
The Esquire Mini is made from premium materials, including real leather backing and brushed aluminum finish.
“With its advanced features, big high-fidelity sound, unsurpassed portability, and its ability to serve as a charging center for your other mobile devices, it will easily become your favorite travel companion,” said Mohit Parasher, Harman’s Vice President for Asia-Pacific.
JBL Pulse
JBL Pulse, on the other hand, is a portable Bluetooth wireless speaker that blends quality sound with a programmable LED light show. A user can stream music from any portable device via Bluetooth and can enhance it with his choice of programmed or customizable light themes.
With a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that provides up to10 hours of music or five hours of music and light show, JBL can go anywhere and deliver wireless fun to users
JBL Flip 2
Completing the four Harman audio solutions is the Bluetooth wireless sound system JBL Flip 2, a new generation device that has a dual JBL drivers with a built-in bass port for full range sound, and a built-in speakerphone with SoundClear echo and noise cancellation technologies.
A perfect partner for smartphone or tablet and its music library, JBL Flip 2 wirelessly streams music via Bluetooth. If a user has a phone call, he can keep his conversation clear and error-free at any volume through its built-in speakerphone with SouthClear echo and noise cancellation.
