Six fun games and exciting updates for Apple Arcade are launching over the next month, joining an award-winning catalog of over 200 games.
On April 3, Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE — the Katamari franchise’s first original game in nearly eight years — launches exclusively on Apple Arcade. In this new adventure, players roll the Katamari as ordered by the King of All Cosmos, embracing the series’ iconic gameplay of “roll, stick, and grow.”
The game appears alongside Bandai Namco Entertainment’s other popular games on the service, including Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat, Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom, and PAC-MAN Party Royale.
Also joining Apple Arcade on April 3 are Space Invaders Infinity Gene Evolve, the newest entry in the influential series by TAITO CORPORATION; puffies., a delightful puzzle game from Apple Design Award winner Lykke Studios; Atari’s iconic RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic+, enhanced for iPhone and iPad; The Game of Life 2+, the official sequel to Hasbro’s classic family board game from Marmalade Game Studio; and Sesame Street Mecha Builders+, a fun-filled STEM adventure for young learners from StoryToys. Players can enjoy these great games free of ads and in-app purchases.
Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE by Bandai Namco Entertainment
In this quirky action game — an Apple Arcade exclusive — players expand their Katamari by rolling up objects scattered across the earth. Featuring unique and whimsical gameplay, and a captivating soundtrack that blends different genres, the game invites players to energize the king’s “live stream” by rolling their Katamari to create stars. As users advance, comments from in-game fans appear, and the longer they play, the larger their audience grows. By completing the king’s challenges and boosting their subscriber count, players can unlock dynamic new stages.
Space Invaders Infinity Gene Evolve by TAITO CORPORATION
The iconic and enduring series returns exclusively on Apple Arcade. Space Invaders Infinity Gene Evolve combines exhilarating action with intuitive gameplay, where players can seamlessly switch between classic and shoot-’em-up modes, while adapting to enemy attack patterns on the fly. RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic+ by Atari
Combining features from two of the series’ most successful and beloved games, RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, this new game invites players to create and run amazing parks with the most outrageous rides imaginable. Sesame Street Mecha Builders+ by StoryToys
In Sesame Street Mecha Builders+, young learners join Mecha Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Abby Cadabby on a fun-filled STEM adventure where knowledge meets creativity. Developed by StoryToys in partnership with Sesame Workshop, this game combines science, engineering, math, and creativity through engaging mini-games and activities.
