Palawan Group partners with eTap

The partnership is a win-win for PalawanPay’s sukis, who can now conveniently cash in their accounts by using any of eTap’s over 2,777 kiosks nationwide.

The Palawan Group of Companies, the trusted name in money remittance (Palawan Express Padala) and pawning services (Palawan Pawnshop) in the Philippines, has entered into a collaborative partnership with eTap, which offers self-service payment machines and kiosks, through their digital wallet, the PalawanPay. The partnership is a win-win for PalawanPay’s sukis, who can now conveniently cash in their accounts by using any of eTap’s over 2,777 kiosks nationwide.

Representing the Palawan Group of Companies during the signing of the agreement were Chief Business Development Officer, Lisa Lou Castro-Sabado; Head of B2B Group, Missy Baldemor; and Head of Innovation, JC Medina. Also present were eTap Chief Executive Officer, Percy Hernandez; President, Marlon Portugal; Chief Strategy Officer, Juan Miguel Hernandez; Business Development Senior Manager, Ernie Eusebio; and COO Jana Cruzado.

“We are true to our vision and mission to help upgrade the lives of our countrymen. This partnership comes at a very opportune time since most Filipinos have transitioned to using digital wallets as their mode of payments. With this, we would like to thank you, Sir Percy and the eTap team. We look forward to more collaborations with you,” said Palawan Group’s Castro-Sabado. “It is an honor for us to partner with the Palawan Group. We’ve actually been talking to others about other concepts, but Palawan has shown so much interest and that is why we are here. I look forward to our continued collaboration in the coming years, as we work together to enhance both of our services and achieve mutual growth,” said eTap’s Percy Hernandez.

This year, the Palawan Group of Companies has forged several partnerships that have allowed them to become closer to the masses. With the addition of eTap, their products and services have become more accessible to the Filipino people. Because of this, more people can  be more aware  about  the services and features of the PalawanPay app and eTap kiosks, allowing more users to have easy access to sending and receiving money wherever they are in the Philippines. This win-win situation yet again shows the Palawan Group of Companies’  commitment of “mura, mabilis, at walang kuskos balungos” service to Filipinos nationwide.
