For this issue of Upgrade Magazine, I compiled stock photos with the HONOR 200. Some of my thoughts on the AI Portrait Master feature starts with the camera. This is the core reason to consider owning one now.The HONOR 200 50MP Main Camera with an industry-leading super large 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 sensor is impressive. With a wide aperture of f/1.95, this ultra-large sensor enables users to capture images with exceptional detail and enhanced brightness.
Likewise, the HONOR 200 Pro variant with a Super Dynamic H9000 Sensor elevates, too, the user-centric AI experience.
Both HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro’s 50MP (f/2.4) Telephoto Camera with dual stabilization uses a customized Sony IMX856 sensor to produce stunning zoomed portraits that are sharp and clear. While the 12MP (f/2.2) Ultra-wide and Macro Camera produces a FOV (field of view) of 112°. Perfect for landscape and architecture photography. Photographing an object at a focusing distance of 2.5 cm with a wide-angle lens (using the macro function) can result to clear, captivating close-up shots.
Both HONOR 200 models support the HONOR AI Portrait Engine co-engineered with Studio Harcourt. This was created by imaging experts of both entities’ product teams who analyzed millions of data sets and 1,000 lighting scenarios over 400 days to create this.
One result, for example, is the slight retouching to enhance a subject’s facial features. The AI Portrait Engine also “adjusts the vignette effect based on different lighting and environment scenarios intelligently”. It introduces, too, “subtle depth to enhance the overall impact of the portrait.”

The HONOR 200 has massive memory — 20GB RAM (12+12) + 512GB ROM.
Thus, up to 214,286 photos and 1,344 HDR videos can be produced and stored. It will take weeks to accumulate this much of stocks. A thumbs up for photo and video enthusiasts.
KEY STRENGTHS OF THE HONOR 200
DISPLAY – The HONOR 200 comes with a large 6.7-inch AMOLED Quad-curved Display with a peak HDR brightness of 4000 nits for high visibility.
