Tech21 has introduced two new cases with Impactology Protection. The cases are for iPad Air, iPad Mini Retina, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.
Featuring D30, Impactology works by combining scientifically proven impact absorbing materials to create slim-fitting products which absorb and dissipate the force of impact. D30 is the orange impact protection material visible seen in Tech21 cases.
Tech21 explains that in everyday use, the molecules flow freely, but upon shock or impact they lock together, absorbing the impact force and spreading the shock evenly across the surface of the material. D30 Impact Material has been adopted material by the military for its power in impact protection on the battlefield, and is also used in other high-impact areas such as sportswear, according to the company.
The Impact Folio case for iPad Air is a slim-fitting, flexible TPU shell integrated with FlexShock, a new hybrid material with multiple stages of impact protection. It absorbs and repels damaging forces away from the point of impact. Any remaining energy is dissipated through its molecular structure, away from the device.
Available in grey/brown and black, the Impact Folio case is built to exceed MIL-STD 810G.516.6 to 1.8m/6ft. It has a fully integrated folio cover and is capable of multiple folio positions (landscape viewing and typing angles).
The Impact Folio case for iPad Air retails for Php3,250, while the case for iPad Mini Retina sells for Php2,950.
Protective Case for MacBook Air and MacBook Pro
The Impact Snap case acts as a permanent protective coat for the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro both while it is in use and in storage. It is created with a premium PC compound and features FlexShock.
Lightweight with heavy-duty protection, the case can easily be snapped-on. The price ranges from Php3,450 to Php3,650, depending on the MacBook model and screen size. Colors available are black, pink, purple and clear.
