Microsoft’s Lumia 530 Dual SIM smartphone now in PH

The Lumia 530 DS

The Lumia 530 DS is now in the Philippines and retails for only Php4,990. With a 4-inch LCD display, the smartphone runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The phone features 4GB of on-board memory, expandable with SD cards up to 128GB. It also comes with an additional 15GB of free cloud storage on Microsoft OneDrive that lets people sync, store, access and share files between Lumia 530 DS and computers, laptops and tablets.

The Lumia 530 DS offers seamless integration with Microsoft services such as Microsoft Office and OneDrive, available right out of the box. Offers popular apps such as Vine, Instagram, WhatsApp, Viber and WeChat, plus key gaming apps such as Asphalt 8, can be downloaded from the Windows Phone Store.

The phone also ofers offline services that save time and money, including maps with offline navigation both home and abroad.

Users can also easily switch between two SIM cards, so they can manage their data costs by clearly separating calls and messages to make it cheaper and easier to connect.

Another highlight of the phone is its smooth performance with signature Lumia apps such as Creative Studio and Glam Me, which help people take quality voice-guided selfies with the 5MP rear camera.

The Lumia 530 DS is expected to be available in the Philippines from September 5, 2014. The Lumia 530 DS will be available in a range of colors including bright orange, bright green and stylish neutrals such as dark grey and white, along with a selection of changeable shells in a variety of colors.
