Salmon launches service app in App Store, GooglePlay

The Salmon app, developed to meet best-in-class security and customer data privacy standards, can now be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.

Consumer fintech Salmon is announcing the release of its service app in the Philippines.

The Salmon app, developed to meet best-in-class security and customer data privacy standards, can now be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.

Existing Salmon customers may use the app to conveniently monitor their financial situation and settle their outstanding credit balances.  Salmon supports payments made through GCash and Maya e-wallets, as well as 7-Eleven and Cebuana Lhuillier branches nationwide.

The app is super-fast on any smartphone due to its AI-optimized performance and small download size.  The app’s light-weight design (less than 6 Mb – iOS/Android) ensures quick download, saves memory space, and allows users to have instant access to the information they require.

“At Salmon we are committed to making it convenient and comfortable for people to manage their finances.  Salmon is here to serve you with no distractions or annoyances.  Our mobile app is free of pop-ups and banner ads, it is slick, refreshingly simple, and remarkably easy to use,” said Raffy Montemayor, co-founder of Salmon.

Shoppers at all Salmon’s partner merchants, including SM Department Store, the largest retailer in the Philippines, may now pay for their purchases in several installments using Salmon’s quick and easy financing service.  Salmon ambassadors at each retail location process customers’ applications in 10-15 minutes, making obtaining credit simple for Filipino shoppers.

All details of the financing documentation are automatically uploaded on the Salmon app, allowing customers to monitor their payment schedules, have a transparent picture of costs and interest payments, access loan agreements, and receive customer support. The app complies with relevant requirements and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
