“Let us experience indestructability,” exclaimed Joepy Libo-on, brand marketing manager of HONOR Philippines, as she led the official introduction of HONOR X9a 5G in Tagaytay City.
Dubbed as the first-ever mobile phone with a premium OLED curved screen, it was subjected to countless accidental drop tests, smash tests, and even a car run over at the phone’s experiental media launch.
In terms of technology and design, and features and function, she underscored, “it is a great leap with no compromise.”
Priced at below the Php 20,000 class, it hits the premium budget phone market. As the latest addition to HONOR’s X series line up, the HONOR X9a 5G comes with a range of upgrades including “an exceptional display, a long-lasting battery and smooth user experience, all packed into an extremely compact design at an affordable price point.”
For instance, boasting of a 120Hz all-round OLED Curved Display, it brings users a large screen of 6.77 inches with a screen-to-body ratio of 93%.
Another feature it boasts is an ultra-large 5100mAh battery packed into a compact body that measures 7.9 mm thin and 175 grams. Thus making it as the thinnest and lightest smartphone.
Upgrade will talk more about the HONOR X9a 5G in a review article.
Reborn in 2021, smartphone maker HONOR has recovered rapidly. It continues to achieve milestones after milestones. During the new year 2023, it will be going beyond with its partners and consumers worldwide. Already the HONOR X Series family had 100 million global users.
