The HP Slate7, a consumer tablet packed with the Google Android, will soon hit the Philippine market.
The entry of Slate7 will usher in HP’s coverage of the consumer tablet segment.
“The product is primarily for play and entertainment consumption, but it can also be used as BYOD and for email, note-taking, and other processes,” Albert Mateo, HP General Manager for PPS, said. “This product will be able to contend in the Philippine market instantly and we expect the value conscious shopper to frenzy over the possibilities they can do with the Slate7 as soon as it gets here.”
The HP Slate7 is the first tablet ever to have Beats Audio, providing superior sound quality for music and movies, coupled with built in stereo speakers. To power your movie marathon, the battery life is capable of five hours video playback.
This seven-inch full touch, 10mm reed thin gadget is powered by Android that will push the Slate7 right in the mix of consumer tablets for personal daily use. It offers ease of use and presents a huge archive of applications for all types of consumer use.
The Slate7 is fitted with premium quality materials—stainless steel and soft touch paint—and will be available in both silver and red. HP also used a 5-points-touch 1024×600 wide view angle LCD, making a multi-user interface possible for those multi-player games and applications.
Slate7’s front-mounted VGA video webcam and the 3 megapixel rear cam are more than adequate for any imaging need. It also has native print capability that allows you to print directly from an application support.
Its 1GB RAM, 8GB eMMC and micro SD expandability, plus the WIFI and Bluetooth connectivity give Slate7 enough muscle to cope with the personal daily use by its consumers. This tablet is superbly backed by the HP brand and support.
