Lenovo unveiled the newest Think series desktop and laptops, a budget-friendly devices which are packed with powerful computing and security features designed to boost productivity and collaboration in the office, at home and on the go.
These PCs, which support Windows 11, include ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10, ThinkCentre neo 50s, and ThinkBook 14s Yoga.
ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 is a laptop powered by up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processors U and P series, and Intel Iris X Graphics. It is packed with up to 32GB LPDDR5 memory, and up to 2TB Gen 4 performance PCIe SSD storage which enable users to stay productive. It also has 5G sub-6 capabilities for faster speeds.
For a vibrant visual experience, ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 is equipped with a 14-inch Dolby Vision touch display, including a 2.8K OLED. With the help of Computer Vision technology, the device offers more intelligent security, power management, and privacy. Computer Vision can detect movement and proximity in all awake or asleep states, enabling the device to alert users to shoulder surfing, dim when users are no longer paying attention, and blur the display.
For security, ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 has an improved ThinkShield and Intel vPro features, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and biometric security features, like fingerprint reader and human presence detection to help protect data and business against evolving threats.
The device sports a new communications bar which makes the lid easier to open and close, and houses the new FHR IR camera options. It is also energized by an improved 57 Whr battery that ensures ample power for all-day work or play.
ThinkCentre neo 50s
The ThinkCentre neo 50s, on the other hand, is a desktop PC that is powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, Integrated Intel UHD Graphics, and up to 64GB DDR4 memory with up to 2TB hard disk drive and 1TB SSD storage for a power-packed performance. It is ideal for the new generation workforce looking to boost productivity.
The desktop is also equipped with high-speed USB ports to enhance collaboration, and VGA, DP, and HDMI 2.0 ports for faster video and data transfers. For security purposes, the ThinkCentre neo 50s offers ThinkShield security technology to safeguard data with multi-state protection. It also has a slot for Kensington lock which enables safety against physical theft, and Smart USB Protection to prevent data theft from USB ports.
The device is equipped with ThinkVision T27q-20, a 27-inch monitor with a QHD, In-Plane switching (IPS) panel for distortion-free images. Apart from this, it has Smart Cable that enhances connectivity between two computers to smoothly operate two devices within one device screen and seamlessly communicate between keyboards, mouse, files, storage and screens.
ThinkBook 14s Yoga Gen 2
The ThinkBook 14s Yoga Gen 2, a 14-inch convertible laptop which is based on AI-enhanced hybrid architecture, is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processors for powerful computing and long battery life. A 2-in-1 laptop, the device can be created in laptop mode, and has a 360-degree hinge to be used for tent, stand, and tablet modes.
This convertible is packed with a memory of up to 40GB DDR4 DIMM and supports dual storage (up to 1TB M.2 PCIe (onboard) and up to iTB M.2 PCIe (open slot). It is powered by up to 8.6 hours of battery life using a 4-cell Li-Polymer 60Whr battery, and supports RapidCharge Technology.
The ThinkBook 14s Yoga Gen 4 comes in a portable design. It is thin at 16.9mm and weighs just 1.5kg so users can bring it and work in style from anywhere. It is also equipped with a Full-HD Dolby Vision display with razor-thin bezels across all sides, and an 86% screen-to-body ratio that enhances work and entertainment. Apart from these, users can take notes, sketch designs, and sign documents using a Smart Pen that is in sync with their workflow.
The device has an improved Touch Mode interface with Corning Gorilla Glass which maintains the Windows 11 UI with more space between icons and cues for moving, resizing, and easy navigation.
