SwiftPay payment gateway enters local market

The aim of SwiftPay is to provide Filipino businesses with a more cost-friendly method to accept digital payments versus existing payment channels in the country.

SwiftPay has become one of the newest digital payments platform in the Philippines. It’s a brand built in 2021, managed by the same team of its sister companies Miquido, a Poland-based software developer that has built the famous Skyscanner for travelers, and Nextbank, a trusted cloud-based solutions provider for banks, lending institutions, cooperatives, and pawnshops in the Philippines since 2017.

Service Concept

The aim of SwiftPay is to provide Filipino businesses with a more cost-friendly method to accept digital payments versus existing payment channels in the country.
While e-wallets bring countless conveniences for many consumers and sellers, their frequent usage can be costlier in the long run with the separate processing fees entailed in loading cash into the e-wallet from the bank account, then transferring out the money to pay billers and individuals. And when it comes to credit card payments, transaction fees are high at 3.5%.

To eliminate the need for multiple transfers and higher processing fees, SwiftPay partnered with major banks like BPI, UnionBank, RCBC, and other rural banks, so sellers can empower their shoppers to do direct online bank transfers without the need to load their e-wallet and avoid its extra fee.
