Smart extended support to the Municipality of Consolacion through the donation of Smart Bro Pocket WiFi devices to the scholars of Consolacion Community College.
Smart has also provided the municipality with a generator set to be deployed to the town’s mountain barangays affected by scheduled power interruptions and line repairs post-Odette.
“We are grateful that Smart has chosen the municipality of Consolacion to be one of the recipients of this support. This is a great opportunity for our students, especially that communication is vital in their classes in the new normal,” says Municipal Vice Mayor Teresa Alegado of Consolacion.
“We believe that these connectivity devices would greatly help our student-beneficiaries. We at Smart will continue to create programs that will reinforce our commitment to connect Filipinos anywhere and anytime,” says Hoyle Raul Disuanco, Group Head/FVP for Regional Customer Development- VisMin.
The ceremonial turnover was joined by the following: Consolacion Municipal Vice Mayor Teresa Alegado, Public Information Officer Alvin Duazo, and representatives from Smart led by Smart Group Head/FVP for Regional Customer Development-VisMin Hoyle Raul Disuanco and Smart Center Head/AVP for Regional Customer Development-CEV Alexis Winters.
