eScan, an anti-virus and content security solution providers, will continue to provide virus signature updates and continue anti-malware support for the operating system, even after Microsoft withdraws support for Windows XP.

Windows XP is a highly accepted OS and holds a third of the market share. Microsoft had extended the life-cycle of Windows XP twice due to users’ demand of not moving away from it. Recently, Microsoft announced that by April 2014, Windows XP will lose product support thus leaving it vulnerable. eScan, however, will continue to provide Virus signature updates to users on Windows XP, even after the OS reaches the end of its life cycle.

With its advanced and futuristic security solutions, eScan promises to protect Windows XP users from malware and potential hackers. Apart from XP, eScan also currently provides full anti-malware software for Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and popular Microsoft Server Operating Systems.
