J&T Express, an e-Commerce delivery company in Southeast Asia, provided relief operations to aide the people affected by the eruption of Taal volcano.
The donation was made to the municipality of Nasugbu in Batangas. The relief goods, mostly consisting of essentials such as water, canned goods and biscuits, were donated in close coordination with the local government officers.
“We are one with the people of Batangas in this time of need. We hope that these items we donated will help brings some relief to the many families affected by this calamity,” said Zoe Chi, vice president of J&T Express Philippines. “This is our way of helping ease the pain and suffering of Filipinos living in and around the affected areas.”
J&T Express Philippines also donated boxes of water, tons of rice, clothes and continuously provides assistance to Shandong Chamber of e-Commerce to deliver the relief goods for free.
J&T Express Philippines is willing to allocate trucks to assist any organization who would like to conduct relief operations for the severely affected areas.
