D-Link International Pte. Ltd., a global provider of networking products, bagged the Editor’s Choice award at the 10th HWM + HardwareZone.com Tech Awards 2019. Meanwhile, the company’s D-Link Covr-2202 was named Best Mesh Networking System.
D-Link’s Covr-2202, which supports a true mesh networking topology and a triband Wi-Fi system, topped the Best Mesh Networking System category.
The D-Link Covr-2202 performed well in all of HWM’s tests, both as a single unit and in a mesh network. Its speeds were higher and more consistent across all tested ranges compared with its rivals. Its ease of setup was also highlighted as the units pair seamlessly right out of the box. Despite the lack of a few features available in some of its rivals, the Covr-2202 has all of the basics such as guest networking and parental controls.
Equipped with high-power amplifiers, the D-Link Covr-2202 can cover up to 6,000 square feet with ultra-high-speed Wi-Fi. It eliminates Wi-Fi dead zones in the home with its six powerful antennas and MU-MIMO technology.
D-Link Covr-2202’s smart backhaul feature also automatically optimizes the signal between the Covr points to make the whole home network perform better overall. With its ultra-high-speed AC2200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi and 11ac Wave 2 with MU-MIMO, users can get more power for faster downloads, lag-free 4K streaming and truly seamless networking, a system that is perfect for bandwidth-hungry homes.
The D-Link Covr-2202 will be available in the Philippines online through Shopee and Lazada, and at selected authorized D-Link resellers this April.
