In the year of 2016, Microsoft Corporation introduced Xbox 360. That version of the Xbox has completely transformed the way we look at any gaming experience. It made the game feel so real that it was sometimes scary and made users think how on Earth such a thing could be possible.
Microsoft added some new features, and the point of which was to add to the experience and make it even more enjoyable as it can possibly get. Gamers all around the world unanimously agreed that playing something has never been so unique and has never seemed that real. Everything from the sound quality to the graphic design had all of the players (both well-seasoned and the wannabes) in awe of the many wonderful things an Xbox 360 was able to perform the minute they tried it out.
Yet it’s all not that dreamy, friends. Xbox 360 is a very costly toy to buy.
But what should one do if they want to try it out so badly that they would do practically anything just to feel what it’s like?
Well, this is exactly what we have gathered today for. Meet the ever-so-wonderful Xenia emulator. With its kind help, you can now play your loving Xbox 360 at 60fps at any point of day and night.
But what is an emulator, you might ask? Well, Xenia is a 100% free and open-source app that is compatible with Microsoft Windows. What is does is that it allows the Xbox 360 console games to be enjoyed on any personal computer.
Sounds mad, doesn’t it? Well, we thought so too until we tried it out. The emulator has the capability to allow you to play roughly 50 different Xbox 360 titles unlimited and at full speed (as of August 2016).
Xenia is one of the most incredible foundations for anything. That “anything” could be turned into an incredibly interesting task. You can utilize it to do anything you would like to – to copy recreations, for example. Before we begin, we must inform you that you absolutely have to have a PC. It better be sufficiently intense, as it will have to run a proper computer game.
Okay, let’s get down to business then. First off, run your Windows. It is great if the version of it is somewhere from Windows 8.1 since Xenia does not perform well with Windows 7 or less. You should also have Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 and Python 2.7 installed in order for the emulator to run properly.
Please keep in mind that Xenia is constantly being produced is updated. There might be a few diversions, however, those can be quickly imitated. Yet some of the amusements that it offers might not actually work with it. If you want to look at the list of the games that are compatible with it, then you should go to the Xenia website and search for the “compatibility” section.
Once you have figured out whether your game of choice works well with the emulator, you can proceed to follow the next steps.
Step 1. Download the actual file of the app from this link:
Step 2. Save the zip file to a folder of choice.
Step 3. Extract the downloaded zip file from a zip folder and run the .exe file.
