OPPO Philippines launched the F5 Youth, the newest selfie-centric smartphone for the Millennial market.
Running on Android-based ColorOS 3.2, the F5 Youth is powered by an Octa-core processor which clocked at a speed of 2.5GHz, and uses the 16nm process technology for all its operations. The device is also equipped with 3GB RAM and energized by a 3,200mAh battery. It weighs 152 grams and measures7.5mm thin.
The phone provides 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB, and microSD card support of up to 256GB. It is equipped with a tri-slot tray to accommodate two sim cards and a microSD card, so connectivity will never become a problem
The F5 Youth sports a six-inch Full High Definition (FHD) touch screen display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels that offers immersive visual experience for watching videos, browsing photo albums or playing games. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The mobile device is also equipped with 16-megapixel (MP) front camera and 13MP rear camera. The front camera applies the Artificial Intelligence technology that helps beautify images or recognize natural beauty based on age, skin tone and skin type. With an f/2.0 aperture, the front camera allows users to get good selfie and recognize dark light scenes. The rear camera, on the other hand, supports PDAF phase focusing having various modes to use such as “Expert Mode” and “Ultra HD Mode”.
Aside from passcode and finger print sensor to unlock the phone, another important unlocking feature of the device is the Speedy Facial Unlock which provides an easy and convenient access to the smartphone.
At a price of P13,990, the F5 Youth is available at all OPPO concept and dealer stores nationwide. It is also available via Home Credit financing at six months 0% interest.
