D-Link launched the DCS-8000LH and DCS-8100LH.
The DCS-8000LH has 720p HD resolution and a 120-degree viewing angle for more coverage. The inconspicuous design makes the DCS-8000LH a compact wireless network camera that can monitor any designated area both during a sunny day and during the darkest of nights. It can connect to wireless network so that it can be installed anywhere with Wi-Fi coverage, with the free mydlink Lite app that sends notifications, saves snapshots, and manages the camera remotely. It has built-in night vision, motion and sound detection, Bluetooth setup, and Built-in IR LEDs.
On the other hand, the one-megapixel sensor, high-quality 720p HD resolution, and 180-degree ultra-wide viewing angle of the DCS-8100LH allows flexibility as it can pivot, tilt and rotate. Its feature set includes the Wireless Signal Strength LED to locate the best wireless location for smooth video streaming. On top of the motion detection, the DCS-8100LH can also pick up and capture loud sounds from the microphone, triggering instant notifications. The built-in infrared LEDs can offer night-time viewing of up to five meters (16.4 feet), and it can talk to people using the mic and speaker on the device for two-way communication. Use the Bluetooth setup or connect to a wireless network, then install the mydlink Lite app to manage a camera remotely.
As an added bonus, the DCS-8100LH supports a microSD card with a storage capacity of up to 128GB, along with an Event recording to microSD Feature (Motion and Sound Detection). The Wireless N with backwards compatibility allows a camera to work with 802.11g/b devices, as well.
