Introducing a new Galaxy Note via the Galaxy Note Fan Edition takes the unused components of the Galaxy Note7 and upcycles the same. The Galaxy Note FE is Samsung’s direct response to the company’s commitment to responsibly dispose the Galaxy Note7 devices. The Galaxy Note FE has a fully water-resistant body and S Pen (IP68), security as well as immersive entertainment capabilities.
This means it comes with Exynos 8890 Octa Core Processor with 4GB of RAM, 5.7 inch QHD display with 2,560 pixel, Super AMOLED screen, and 12-megapixel dual pixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera.
“The move to re-engineer a flagship device to create an environmentally friendly, safe, and ultimately improved reincarnation of a fan favorite is meant to satisfy loyal followers of the Galaxy Note series,” said Nio Judalena, marketing head for IT and Mobile, Samsung Electronics Philippines Corp.
The S Pen replicates the ease of a real pen, even without unlocking the screen by using Screen Off Memo and pinning the memo to the Always On Display. The S Pen also gives users the ability to create and share GIF animations with Smart Select while Air Command functions, including Magnify and Translate, enable users to zoom in on the screen or convert languages by hovering.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is HDR streaming ready. The Galaxy Note FE is also IP68 Water and Dust Resistant, which means it’s water resistant up to 1.5m for 30 minutes.
The new 3,200mAh battery in all units go through the 8-Point Battery Safety Check to maintain both quality and safety.
The Galaxy Note FE is offered in blue coral and black onyx.
