Ericsson appointed Martin Wiktorin to the role of president and unit head of the Philippines, Pacific Islands, Singapore and Brunei, effective 1 July. This expands his current role as president and country manager of Ericsson Singapore and Brunei, which he held since January 2016.
Wiktorin comes to the position with more than 20 years of Ericsson global experience, having held senior and executive leadership roles across both North East Asia and Europe. His experience includes roles as VP for System Solutions in China, leading Ericsson’s Radio Systems Business in Eastern Europe and overseeing the company’s Mobile Switching Business in Sweden. He was also the head of Ericsson Korea and president and CEO of Ericsson-LG Co. Ltd, in North East Asia, where he was leading over 1,800 employees.
Wiktorin holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Lulea University of Technology, Sweden.

Sean Gowran will continue his current role as country manager for Philippines and Pacific Islands until the end of the year.
