ICT solutions and services provider Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. has introduced new pure fiber-optic connectivity offerings capable of providing high-speed Internet to home, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and large enterprise users, with no “data cap.”
These fiber broadband offerings, which will soon be enjoyed across the country, consist of FiberX, iBIZ, Converge Enterprise and FiberXtreme. Converge ICT Solutions products cost the same as Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) connection but made faster.
“We thought that what’s the use of having fast internet connection if there is a limit to data access? With FiberX, there is no more ‘data cap’ to Internet usage. We feel we will just be short-changing our customers if we put a limit to their Internet usage,” says Jesus Romero, Chief Operating Officer at Converge ICT Solutions, Inc.
Romero adds that the existing difficulties customers are getting into when applying for internet connection will be lessened. “Part of the experience is to make sure that customers will not wait long to get connected. We have made the application process simple, easy and fast. No more hassles, no more waiting,” he said.
Depending on Internet usage, Converge ICT Solutions offers FiberX in three plan types starting at FiberX1500 which comes with a burstable speed of up to 25Mbps.
This plan, considered as the lowest in the country, used to have a speed of up to 20Mbps. Other plans include FiberX2000 with connectivity of up to 50Mbps and Fiber3500 with up to 100Mbps. For users who want even faster connectivity, they can avail of FiberXtreme that comes in burstable speeds of 300Mbps and 500Mpbs and priced at Php4,500 and Php7,000, respectively.
For MSMEs, the company has its iBIZ pure fiber plan that comes with free Webmail, Web hosting and Public IP.
Converge ICT Solutions offers Converge Enterprise for large enterprises. This service comes with scalable Internet connection of up to 1Gbps, an IP MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), Disaster Recovery, Managed Data Center Services, and other benefits for more efficient business operations.
According to Romero, Converge ICT Solutions has already built fiber optic network going as far north as Baguio to as far south as Balayan, Batangas through its wholly-owned subsidiary MetroWorks that is primarily engaged in micro-trenching for underground optic fiber network. A total of 4,000 kilometers of fiber backbone network were already rolled out in Metro Manila.
Clients of Converge ICT Solutions comprise of firms in the financial, education, government, BPO/shared services, media, and telecommunications sector.
