Chinese phone maker OPPO launched in the Philippine market its OPPO F1. Dubbed as the “Selfie Expert”, the handset has an 8MP front camera built with an 84-degree wide angle camera lens with f/2.0 aperture, and a 1/4 –inch sensor allowing 40% more light to enter the camera than an f/2.4 aperture lens.
The device has the Beauty 3.0+ feature and eight various filters, as well as a display that can also be used as flash in low-light environments.
The phone’s rear camera’s specs include the 13-MP sensor, f/2.2 aperture lens, Pure Image 2.0+ features, and a number of customizations.
OPPO F1 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Octacore processor with four cores at 1.7GHz and four cores at 1.2GHz. The device has a 16GB of storage that is expandable to up to 128GB, an Adreno 405 GPU, and a 3GB RAM that runs ColorOS 2.1, based on Android 5.1.
OPPO F1 has a five-inch IPS TFT display with a HD resolution of 1280×720-pixel, a dual SIM card (micro-SIM card and nano-CIM card), and energized by a 2,500mAh battery. The phone’s screen is protected by a 2.5F Corning Gorilla Glass coating and aluminum housing.
Available in Gold and Rose Gold colors, the device is sold at P11,990.
OPPO Philippines established partnerships with Smart Communications, Sun Cellular, Home Credit and the Philippine Basketball Association.
OPPO F1 is now available under Smart Communications’ All-in Plan 1200, a postpaid plan with FlexiBundles. For prepaid subscribers, each purchased F1 unit comes with a free Smart SIM that offers 50MB worth of free data every month for six months, and P150 worth of load for every P250 accumulated top-up for six months.
OPPO also collaborated with Home Credit, a consumer finance provider, to offer more options in buying F1, available at P1,299 per month for six months at zero interest rate. The promo is available from February 19 to March 31.
In addition, the OPPO Neo 5s will also be available under Sun Cellular’s Best Value Plan 450, which includes unlimited Sun calls and texts, 250MB of data, and 250 texts to other networks.
OPPO F1 is also the title sponsor of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup this year.
