Ideal for professional photographers and videographers, the Sandisk Extreme 900 drive delivers up to nine times faster speeds than a portable hard drive in up to 1.92 terabytes (TB) capacities to move files in seconds. The SanDisk Extreme 500 portable SSD, on the other hand, offers speeds up to four times faster with capacities of up to 480GB.

“We designed this game-changing family of offerings to provide our customers with even greater speeds and capacities to keep up with rapidly increasing demands for high-quality content,” said Candy Gao, country manager for Hong Kong and Philippines of SanDisk Corporation.

Users of SanDisk Extreme 900 portable SSD can accommodate their content, whether they are filing or editing 4K ultra high-definition video, taking high-res photos or creating large graphic files, with up to 1.92TB of capacities at speeds up to 850MB per second. On the other hand, the SanDisk Extreme 500 SSD, which is available in 120GB and 240GB capacities of portable storage, can transfer big videos and photo libraries at speeds up to 415MB per second. With this performance, both SSDs reduce wait times while accelerating work flow.
