Regional AI center brings to PH first AI workshop for comms

The AI Centre of Excellence (ACE) is hosting a groundbreaking workshop led by renowned AI expert, Hemant Gaule, on March 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM at The Holiday Inn & Suites Makati. A Zoom link will be provided for online participants. 

From automating content creation to personalizing audience engagement, AI is now reshaping how brands communicate and connect with their stakeholders.

To help marketing executives, communications professionals, and PR practitioners navigate this evolving terrain, the AI Centre of Excellence (ACE) is hosting a groundbreaking workshop led by renowned AI expert, Hemant Gaule, on March 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM at The Holiday Inn & Suites Makati. A Zoom link will be provided for online participants. 

The workshop, titled “Power of AI for Communications and Beyond,” shall offer a crash course for attendees on using large language models (LLMs) and generative AI for communication professionals to learn how to leverage AI tools and techniques so they may enhance their communication strategies, improve work efficiency, and achieve measurable results.

“AI is no longer a futuristic concept; it’s a present reality that is rapidly transforming the communication industry,” says Hemant Gaule, who will lead the workshop on March 21, 2025. “PR professionals need to understand the potential of AI and learn how to harness its power to stay ahead of the curve. This workshop will equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the age of AI-driven communications.”

Gaule brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the workshop. He co-founded Citizens of Accountable Governance, a team that spearheaded the successful national election campaign of India’s current Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in 2014. Gaule also co-founded and serves as Director and CEO of the School of Communications & Reputation (SCoRe), India’s only institute dedicated to education and research in public relations.

The ACE workshop will cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • AI-powered content creation: Learn how AI can automate the generation of various content formats, from press releases to social media posts.
  • Audience targeting and personalization: Discover how AI can help identify and segment target audiences, enabling more personalized and effective communication.
  • Sentiment analysis and reputation management: Explore how AI can monitor online conversations and assess public sentiment towards a brand, allowing for proactive reputation management.
  • Predictive analytics for communication planning: Understand how AI can analyze data to predict future trends and inform communication strategies.
  • Ethical considerations of AI in communication: Discuss the ethical implications of using AI in communication and how to ensure responsible and ethical practices.

The ACE (AI Centre of Excellence), is a tripartite partnership between the London School of Public Relations, the School of Communications and Reputation (SCoRe), and Ardent Communications Inc. (ArdentComm).

ACE was formed to provide cutting-edge and high-quality education to cultivate faculty, professionals, and students in AI and machine learning, specifically within communication. ACE aims to foster collaborations between academia and industry, leveraging AI methods to solve real-world problems. The center plans to train professionals, SMEs, graduate students, and undergraduate students in fundamental and applied AI courses, preparing them to be a skilled workforce in both academia and industry.

Similar workshops will follow in Indonesia (Jakarta), Malaysia, and Vietnam. This workshop presents a unique opportunity for PR practitioners to gain a competitive edge in the age of AI and prepare for the future of communication.
