Converge pioneers Fiber-to-the-Room technology at St. Luke’s Medical Center

Two companies leading the way in their respective fields – St. Luke’s Medical Center for medical care and Converge ICT Solutions Inc. for technology – have forged a partnership that will bring unparalleled, innovation-driven patient care and guest experience to new heights at the country’s premier hospital.

The FTTR solution was deployed to 400+ rooms in St. Luke’s Medical Center, BGC and nearly 400 rooms in SLMC in Quezon City are underway for activation. This is in addition to the high-capacity, seamless Wi-fi provided by Converge in all the common areas of both hospitals.

Patients can seamlessly access eHealth records, entertainment, billing, and interactive features via Smart TV—all from the comfort of their hospital room. Through a Converge-powered digital smart box whose software has been designed for maximum functionality, patients are empowered to have the following:

  • Personalized eHealth access – allows patients to view their medical records, test results, and treatment plans in real time.
  • Smart Entertainment Hub – Stream TV, on-demand movies, and music, or play interactive games.
  • Effortless Bill Management – Securely review and pay hospital bills with just a few taps.

Proving its mettle not just in broadband connectivity but in software-driven digital solutions, the company launched the Converge Content+ in 2024, an enterprise, internet-based TV solution catering this time to the hospitality industry.

This year, Converge is set to expand its suite of Enterprise and Wholesale products as it simultaneously links up with technology partners to bring more innovative solutions to Philippine businesses.
