Beko Philippines partners with St. John Bosco Parish

Giving light and love to Filipino homes, Beko Philippines ended 2024 with a grateful heart as it concluded its Beko Sends Love promotion, which supported St. John Bosco Parish Makati for its Light A Parol, Light A Home Project.

Reflecting on the challenges and highlights of last year brings light to one of the most admired traits of Filipinos: our love for community. Our culture emphasizes the importance of bayanihan, ensuring no one is left behind, especially those in greatest need.

Beko, a European home appliance brand, believes that one facet of sustainability is being in touch with human needs to uplift communities for social and economic development. By empowering local communities, every home is given the opportunity for a brighter life.

Giving light and love to Filipino homes, Beko Philippines ended 2024 with a grateful heart as it concluded its Beko Sends Love promotion, which supported St. John Bosco Parish Makati for its Light A Parol, Light A Home Project.

In recognition of the Jubilee Year’s theme Beacon of Hope, Beko’s support for the project sparked a series of meaningful activities, such as the Light A Parol fundraising and the A Light Of Hope concert featuring The Company, Asia’s premiere vocal group. The proceeds from these fundraising events also helped to provide Noche Buena packs to 500 families. Beko employees joined hands in assembling and distributing the gift packs, bringing hope and aid to marginalized families in the community.

Moreover, Beko and St. John Bosco Parish’s efforts significantly contributed to raising funds for the parish’s scholarship program, as well as for the workshops and training sessions of the parish’s Ministry on Music and Cultural Affairs.

“Beko’s approach to sustainability is multi-faceted; we believe that engaging with the community is also vital for achieving sustainable growth in our society. As we end 2024, we feel a deep sense of gratitude and inspiration to reach even more homes this year—both through our community service and through our home appliances that promote healthy and comfortable living,” shared Dyeun Zapanta, Marketing Head of Beko Philippines.
