Singapore-based sales intelligence platform The Grid expands its data coverage reach into seven new markets across the region, adding data coverage for Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Furthering the company’s regional growth strategy, The Grid aggregates and analyzes data from official business registries and public professional networks across Southeast Asia and Australia-New Zealand region with over 400 million population. 

The rollout comes as a response to ever-growing demand for localized yet accurate business intelligence in the region’s rapidly growing B2B landscape. 

This provides sales teams all over the world an access to executives, decision makers, and company information for more comprehensive market insights.

“Our research shows that businesses in Southeast Asia and ANZ are looking beyond their domestic markets for growth opportunities, but they often struggle with finding the right business contact information quickly,” said Shawn Hu, Product Strategy Manager at The Grid.

Market-specific functionalities of The Grid’s expanded platform include specialized search capabilities adapted to each country’s business environment.  For instance, in Singapore, users may use particular filters such as legal entity search and Singapore Standard Industrial Classification (SSIC) codes to identify prospects in niche industries.

The platform’s technology collects information about companies and businesses from various sources such as company websites and job portals to identify businesses with higher purchasing power to procure new products and services.

This approach to data collection and analysis enables sales teams to better target and engage with prospective clients across the region.
