Local exhibitors and over 150 micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) from Dipolog City in Zamboanga del Norte gathered at the latest leg of the MSME Day organized by PLDT Enterprise, in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Philippines and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
This event, part of a nationwide initiative, focused on empowering MSMEs through the four pillars: Access to Technology, Access to Finance, Access to Market, and Access to Upskilling.
Experts from PLDT and Smart, StartUp Village, Maya, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, USAID Strengthening Private Enterprise for the Digital Economy (SPEED) Activity, LexMeet, and Multisys Technologies Corporation shared insights and provided resources to help these businesses thrive in the digital economy.
PLDT Enterprise also invited Charmae Beltran-Uy, a successful Dipolog entrepreneur from DC Foodhouse, to share her inspiring journey towards business success. Her story of resilience and innovation provided valuable insights for fellow MSMEs looking to grow and succeed in the competitive market.
