PLDT and Smart assure their customers that network services remain operational and resilient, amid the onslaught of #CarinaPH, except in areas affected by commercial power interruption.
As of 11 a.m. Philippine Standard Time, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has reported that #CarinaPH continues to intensify with maximum sustained winds of 165 km/h and gustiness of up to 205 km/h, as it heads towards Taiwan.
“PLDT group continues to monitor the situation and has prepositioned mission-critical manpower and resources to respond to communities in need,” said Cathy Yang, FVP and Group Head, Corporate Communications at PLDT and Smart.
The public is advised to take necessary precautions and heed the alerts and warnings of local governments and disaster response authorities.
