One thing going in favor of realme 125G is its camera design. First off, it is an eye catcher. So, I give this smartphone several plus points… hands down.
Well, seriously. I do. At the unboxing for an Upgrade Magazine review piece, the wow element immediately pops out as it leads both eyes and fingers to the camera island. Whichever angle you point the realme 12 5G at, the polished sunburst dial pattern stands out. Completing the luxurious watch-like design are the “3D Jubilee bracelet and polished PVD edges” elements.
I agree with the statement of realme, “The same way a trendy watch catches the eye, the realme 12 5G was designed for the same effect, making an impression from any angle.”
With 500 gradient sunburst patterns coming together to create “the classic sunburst effect of luxury watch dials,” the phone tells us of the top-notch craftsmanship in its production.
I like that the camera island is center-aligned on the back. This eliminates the left hand pointing finger from accidentally poking on the upper left frame of the camera. Inside the camera island, in a big round bump, we see an inscribed “108MP AI camera” text. You have to tilt the phone to a certain degree to read this. The triple lens setup captures sharp images in various scenarios from the primary, ultra-wide and macro lens.
Another thing that scores a point for realme 12 5g is its comfortable hand feel. The thin 7.69mm body with a C-angle side design sits perfectly in the hand (at least in mine). Also, the high-gloss metal-textured middle frame adds to its overall elegance.
If there is one word to describe realme 12 5g, then it is “impressive”. Watch out for the full Upgrade Magazine product review.
In the meantime, tune in to the realme 12 5G livestream launch on April 25 on realme Philippines’ Facebook and TikTok pages.
