2023 for Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), was a year of strengthening its workshop network in the country. To serve Filipino motorists better, Caltex opened 82 Do-It-For-Me (DIFM) Caltex Havoline autoPro, Caltex Havoline bikePro and Caltex Delo Sports oil change workshops in strategic locations nationwide. This brings the overall DIFM network to 359 workshops all over the Philippines.
These Caltex-branded workshops offer a range of services from lubrication, comprehensive engine repairs and tune-ups, wheel alignment to general maintenance, car wash and detailing. These workshops ensure convenience for customers who want to have their cars and motorcycles serviced by expert mechanics using high-quality oils and lubricants.
Caltex Marcos Highway in Pasig City stands as a testament to this commitment. Under its new site management, their Caltex Havoline autoPro workshop was reimaged to improve its automotive care and maintenance services and facilities. With the reinforcement of the Caltex technical standards on vehicle care, proper training on customer handling process and implementation of local site marketing programs, the site generated sales and revenue growth in 2023.
In the Visayas region, the Cebu Easy Autocare Center and TRP Tactical Racing Philippines officially opened both Caltex Havoline bikePro and Caltex Delo Sports oil change-branded workshops last December 2023 in AC Cortes, Mandaue City. This addition to Caltex’s growing roster of workshops is a unique location as it can cater both automotive and motorcycle customers. With this, car enthusiasts and motorcycle aficionados can ensure reliable service for their vehicles thru their expert mechanics and harnessing the quality of both Delo Sports diesel engine oil and Havoline motorcycle oil products.
Expanding Caltex’s operation in the southwest region of Mindanao, the Caltex Delo Sports oil change workshop of HD3 Auto Care Services was established last November 2023 in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat. This site was strategically selected to capitalize on the expanding market for DIFM services in the area. This is the brand’s largest workshop in the country that can cater to 24 vehicles at one time. It is situated atop a 1-hectare lot, with prospects for future expansion.
“This shows our commitment to continually set new benchmarks in the quality that we offer in the branded workshop space, not only for the motorists but for our workshop partners as well. These workshops will provide Caltex’s holistic range of services to keep the motorists vehicles in tip-top shape so they can enjoy their journeys better.” CPI Country Chairman Billy Liu remarked.
