Bayad and RCBC renews partnership

RCBC DiskarTech is the country’s first multilingual financial inclusion application that allows users to deposit, save, withdraw, and pay bills.

The pioneer brand in the outsourced payment collection system in the Philippines, CIS Bayad Center, Inc. (Bayad) has renewed its partnership with Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), enabling inclusive financial services through RCBC Diskartech and RCBC ATM Go.

RCBC DiskarTech is the country’s first multilingual financial inclusion application that allows users to deposit, save, withdraw, and pay bills.

With its bills payment capability powered by Bayad, RCBC DiskarTech app users will now be able to conveniently settle their bills for electric and water utilities, cable and internet, government contributions, loan payments, credit cards, school tuition fees, online shopping, insurance, and many others. Apart from this, RCBC DiskarTech App users will now also be able to deposit funds and withdraw cash through Bayad Center branches.

On the other hand, RCBC ATM Go is the country’s largest bank-agnostic, mobile-point-of-system and grassroots-oriented ATM service. By partnering with MSMEs and local businesses in low-income, rural and remote communities, RCBC emerged as the only universal private bank to have 100% coverage by servicing all 82 provinces including Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs).

Today, RCBC ATM Go users can conveniently have their bank transactions such as balance inquiry, withdraw, and fund transfer, by simply entering their ATM pin on the POS machine at the nearest Bayad Center in their area.

Bayad President and CEO, Lawrence Y. Ferrer shared, “Our partnership with RCBC DiskarTech and RCBC ATM Go is set to continuously amplify financial inclusion. Our goal has always been about enabling convenience and accessibility for our kababayans especially those in the underprivileged areas of the country. With this, we are proactively expanding our biller network making payments for household bills and government contributions just at the fingertips of DiskarTech App users.

RCBC Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation and Inclusion Officer Lito Villanueva also commended Bayad sharing “For the past 26 years, Bayad has been committed to serving the Filipino people through easier outsourced payment and bills payment options. At RCBC, we stand for the same thing – making digital finance more accessible and easier for everyone. Through our renewed partnership, we are optimistic that we will further the financial inclusion goals of both RCBC and the Philippine government.”
