Jerameel Azurin, ePLDT Vice President and Head of Product Management for Cloud Tech Services, encouraged business leaders to adopt a fresh mindset when approaching digital transformation. Instead of solely looking to Cloud to address existing issues, Mr. Azurin advocated for exploring the untapped potential that Cloud technology can unlock for their businesses.

Speaking at the SEIPI Q2 General Membership Meeting, Azurin highlighted that Cloud goes beyond migration since it has also become an enabler to meet other digital goals. He also emphasized that it can be used as leverage to harness the immense potential of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to thrive and succeed in today’s digital landscape.

According to Azurin, AI has become an integral part of the modern business ecosystem, offering businesses a wide array of services that can facilitate informed decision-making, optimize operations, enhance customer experience, and ultimately boost revenues. These services encompass advanced capabilities such as natural language processing, image recognition, prediction, and automation.

In his presentation, Azurin also highlighted ePLDT as the pioneer and leading data center operator in the Philippines. With an extensive network of 10 strategically located VITRO data centers and an 11th facility in the way, ePLDT has firmly established itself as the preferred partner for businesses seeking reliable and cutting-edge data center solutions. VITRO Sta. Rosa, scheduled to go live by early 2024, will be the country’s biggest data center and will serve as a gateway for enterprises and global hyperscalers, connecting them to the rest of the Philippines and beyond.
