Canon unveiled in the Philippines the PowerShot V10, a compact and lightweight camera that can create quality 4K videos with ease. The camera, which offers features that meet evolving imaging requirements, is a good choice for vloggers, and content creators.

Despite having a compact form factor that can easily fit in a bag, the camera can shoot quality 4K video. Equipped with a one-inch CMOS sensor and a fixed 19mm wide-angle lens, the PowerShot V10 can capture large groups in its frame. It has an integrated retractable, tiltable stand to provide tripod-like support whenever or wherever it is needed, allowing anyone to shoot from different angles. There is also a built-in microphone that cancels noise and ensuring high-quality sound capture needed to create videos with ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) effect.
Through Canon’s EOS imaging technology, the PowerShot V10 can produce stunning, low-noise footage with vivid colors, even in low-light venues. With various shooting modes that include auto and manual exposure, and a suite of 14 built-in color filters, the camera helps achieve ideal results regardless of skill level or the extent to edit your footage. Using the camera’s tilt-type monitor, different camera angles can be experimented to see and adjust high- and low-angle shots comfortably.
Beyond these color filters, the camera also has an automatic Neutral Density (ND) filter. The new Movie Auto ND filter automatically turns the built-in 3-stop ND filter on or off according to ambient brightness to record perfectly exposed transitions, from the dim indoors to the sunny outdoors in one smooth take.
The PowerShot V10 is also equipped with autofocus and face detection. While Face Tracking AF automatically detects and keeps your face in frame, you can also switch to Specified Frame AF to focus on wherever you tap.
The ergonomic vertical grip provides both right- and left-handers with a comfortable, stable hold, perfect for trying out new transitions or taking long handheld videos such as virtual tours of travel accommodation. Designed for ease of shooting, the lens’ wide angle-of-view lets you record yourself with your friends and the background behind you, all from a natural, non-outstretched arm position.

The PowerShot V10 supports real-time delivery methods such as livestreaming, which can be done directly to Facebook or YouTube via the Camera Connect app without the hassle of complicated settings.
