Norton tapped Global Tiger Solutions, distributor and provider of sustainable systems, solutions and services, as one of its official distributors of Norton products to help keep people in the Philippines safe online. Together with Philippine-based 50-site retailer DataBlitz, Global Tiger Solutions will take the lead in launching four Norton products and services in the Philippines this month.

The Philippines ranked 46th in the National Security Index and 61st in the Global Security Index, according to the most-recent data from the National Cyber Security Index. Experts noted the Philippines’ cybersecurity landscape fails to keep up with its rapidly growing digitalization. Norton’s launch of additional offerings in the Philippines reinforces its commitment to helping people enjoy their digital lives safely. These newly launched products and services include:

Norton AntiVirus Plus provides powerful protection for people’s devices and the personal information these devices store. It features real-time threat protection to shield devices from existing and emerging online threats.

Norton 360 Standard offers multiple layers of protection to keep people’s devices safe and online privacy intact – all in a single solution. It includes 10 GB of Cloud Backup storage, a secure unlimited VPN that allows browsing anonymously and securely, and SafeCam for PC that will alert customers to other parties attempting to access their webcam and help them block unauthorized access to it.

For families, it features parental control to enable parents to monitor their children’s activities online. The product also includes a School Time feature to help manage a child’s remote learning environment.

Norton 360 for Gamers is designed by gamers for gamers to offer powerful protection against viruses, malware, DDoS, doxxing, webcam take-overs, phishing attacks and more. It has a game optimizer that boosts a PC’s gaming performance and helps eliminate FPS lags and slowdowns from other apps for smooth visuals. It has 50 GB storage and automatically stores game clips online, freeing up space on drives.

We look forward to bringing Norton products and services into the Philippine market as a first step in helping empower Digital Freedom in the country,” said Mark Gorrie, Vice President of the APAC, MEA region for Gen.
