foodpanda introduces newest innovation, pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels

Patricia Jacinto, director of operations at foodpanda, disclosed that the pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels is set to roll out starting June this year to engage, excite and reward Ka-panda riders.

Online delivery service provider foodpanda introduced its newest innovation, the pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels, a foodpanda-branded bus that will visit gas stations of its filling partners namely Caltex, Unioil, and Jetti in selected provinces and cities across the Philippines to connect with its Ka-panda delivery riders.

Patricia Jacinto, director of operations at foodpanda, disclosed that the pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels is set to roll out starting June this year to engage, excite and reward Ka-panda riders.

“We’re delighted to bring the pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels to its respective venues namely the gas stations of our filling partners. Let me thank them for giving the pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels stations where Ka-panda riders can play games, earn rewards, redeem premium Ka-panda rider-merchants, and chat with foodpanda representatives,” Jacinto said.

Jacinto also said the objectives of the Hub on Wheels are to improve the bond and most importantly, strengthen their relationships with riders, which she considers as the heart of their business and operations. “Without them, we don’t exist.”

Based on these objectives, the pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels promises to achieve the following goals: improve rider satisfaction, increase engagement, and improve and highlight the bamboos, Ka-panda riders’ loyalty program.

Where there is pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels, there will be simple but fun games for riders to enjoy. They will also earn points that can be added to their existing bamboos, and they can redeem merchandise right on the spot.

The pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels also serves as a mobile assistance center where riders can have face-to-face discussion with foodpanda representatives on issues or concerns such as riders’ benefits, programs, policies as well as upcoming activities and others.

“It’s not easy to be a rider and we really want them feel that we appreciate what they do. These functions, we believe, will help us forge stronger bonds with them. We want to keep our Ka-panda riders feel loved and valued, and keep them happy and engage so they can continue to serve our customers in the best foodpanda way possible,” Jacinto said.
