Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 12 series in the local market. Consisting of Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12, these devices offer enhancements to the their features – from an improved camera system to longer battery life, faster charging speed, and a more user-friendly design.
While Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G boasts a powerful triple camera system, the flagship Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is equipped with a 200MP main camera with OIS, ultra-wide camera, and macro camera, setting a new standard for upper mid-range smartphone photography. The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G also offers IMX766 sensor with OIS, ultra-wide and macro cameras for impressive shots even in low-light scenarios. These devices come with advanced AI software algorithms for a seamless camera usage experience.
For users to have enticing visual experience, both Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G sport a 120Hz Flow AMOLED displays, which are Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos supported, and have flexible P-OLED materials that enable slimmer bezels.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is offered in two options: the 8+128GB variant priced at PhP16,999 and the 8+256GB model at PhP17,999, both of which also include a free Redmi Buds 3 Lite for pre-order customers. Customers may purchase these devices online through Xiaomi’s official stores in Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop as well as authorized Xiaomi Stores and partner retailers nationwide. The Redmi Note 12, on the other hand, offers 33W fast charging and a 5,000mAh long lasting battery so users can use more apps and take more photos without battery concerns. It is also equipped with a solid AI triple camera, stunning Night Mode feature, as well as a host of useful features and filters.
The Redmi Note 12 is available in three variants: the 4+128GB model which is exclusively available for purchase via authorized Xiaomi online stores, priced at PhP8,999; the 6+128GB and 8+128GB versions that can be bought from all authorized online and retail stores, priced at PhP9,999 and PhP10,999, respectively. These models are now open for pre-orders, and buyers will receive a Xiaomi power bank 1000mAh as a complimentary gift.
At the launch, Xiaomi also unveiled its Redmi Watch 3 with a crystal-clear 1.75” AMOLED display designed to ensure readability in bright sunlight. The watch’s bezel is created with a high-gloss metal finishing using NCVM technology to come out with a premium look in black and ivory colors. In addition, two special edition straps and over 200 built-in watch faces are available for customer’s options
With a built-in GPS and waterproof ratings, the Redmi Watch 3 supports five major satellite positioning systems and 121 sports modes, including six automatically recognized sports modes, along with blood oxygen, heart rate, sleep, and other health monitoring functions. Having a battery life of up to 12 days in typical use, the watch ensures stable and efficient performance. The watch also features an HD speaker and noise-canceling microphone for smooth and clear Bluetooth phone calls.
The Redmi Watch 3 is available for a price of PhP4,999. Early bird customers may get it for just PhP4,499 from April 15 to 23, 2023 via Xiaomi official channels.
