First off is accidental drops.
Dropping does not happen every day, but it may (and does) happen during least unexpected moments. Most likely if you have a habit of being clumsy or have a gripping problem.
This happened to me during the drop tests at the experiential launch of HONOR X9a 5G last January 19 in Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay City. When it was my turn during the demonstration of our “media” team, I failed to catch the unit. My teammate was to pass it over to me by dropping it from a height of 5 feet. It bounced off my hands and landed unscratched on the floor.
Thus, the “first-ever” phone with an ultra-tough premium OLED Curved Screen was a hit among participants and attendees.

One sunny midday, shortly before lunch, on a highway, I took out the HONOR X9a 5G from my bag to check the time. Though the sun was glaring above my head, I was able to read screen with ease.
Curious how photos will turn out under such a condition, I flicked the camera. The images were vivid, clear and vibrant.
Indeed, with brightness levels reaching up to 800 nits, the HONOR X9a 5G’s display excels no matter what the lighting conditions are, even under bright sunlight.
STORAGE AND MATRIX STAR RING CAMERA DESIGN
Second on the list is insufficient storage.
Exceptionally slim and lightweight, the HONOR X9a 5G measures just 7.9 mmthin and 175g in weight while packing a raft of premium design features, including a symmetrical circular camera layout. With curved edges on both sides, the HONOR X9a 5G offers a comfortable grip and fits perfectly in your palm while in use.

On top of its 8 GB, is the extra 5 GB RAM.
Three cameras and the flashlight are placed equally along the Star Ring design. The HONOR Magic Vs features the proprietary AI-enabled HONOR Image Engine and triple-camera system comprising a 54MP IMX800 Main Camera, a 50MP Ultra-Wide & Macro Main Camera, and an 8MP 3X Optical Zoom Camera, allowing users to capture captivating images in stunning detail, delivering a superior photography and videography experience.
A feature I was delighted with is multi-video (front and back), which is great for blogging.
With Multi-Video Mode recording, users can simultaneously capture multiple perspectives using the front camera and the rear camera at the same time.
2 DAYS BATTERY LIFE
The third point addressed is battery life.
HONOR’s product briefs stated “Packing an ultra-large 5100mAh battery into a compact body, so far, the HONOR X9a 5G is the thinnest and lightest smartphone to feature a battery larger than 5000mAh, which allows it to support up to 2 days of daily use for a truly uninterrupted user experience. With just 30 minutes of charging, the HONOR X9a 5G delivers 12.5 hours of video streaming, sparing users from having to worry about their battery.”
About 10 minutes before the evening’s launch, my HONOR X9a 5G smartphone alerted me that my battery power was running low.
Immediately, I plugged it. This was a good time to test its fast charge feature. From 20% battery power, in a little over 30 minutes it rocketed to 60%. More than enough to cap the night and record the announcement of the price of HONOR X9a 5G.
