Meta celebrates the creativity of Filipinos on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger with creators across different social spheres in its latest campaign. Through “Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger from Meta, Magic From You,” Meta shows how its apps provide the tools and platforms to cultivate connections and community-building—but the actual magic? It all comes from our talented Pinoys.
More than just spotlighting content creators, Meta aims to inspire Filipinos to share, experiment, and keep making fun and unique social content that entertain, educate, and in turn, inspire others.
The campaign kicked off with two films featuring local drag star Brigiding, graffiti artist collective Pintadas Art, and homegrown lady ballers repping just some of the diverse Filipino communities bringing their passions and personalities to life on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger.
Now, creators from singer and parody-extraordinaire Mikey Bustos to dance prodigy Niana Guerrero are taking center stage to show off the magic they create online with apps from Meta.
“Being able to express myself, share my talent, and create content that others enjoy feels nothing short of magical. It’s a gift that I believe everyone could experience with apps like Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger from Meta. Myself and the other creators are excited to be working with Meta on this campaign to encourage Pinoys to discover and unleash the magic within them,” says Niana.
“Filipinos use Meta’s family of apps in many ways—they come together with people of similar interests through Facebook Groups, they create new connections by engaging with Instagram reels, and they discover and come up with creative and entertaining ideas by sharing and reposting content,” says John Rubio, Meta Country Director for the Philippines. “The local community on Meta’s family of apps is home to some of the most amazing Creators and Community Groups in the region. Through Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger from Meta, Magic from You, we spotlight the remarkable ways that Filipinos have used Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger, and celebrate Filipino Creators who are inspiring a new movement of creative content online.”
To highlight the Magic of Rock, Meta tapped OPM icon Spongecola. The Divine Divas plus Marina Summers and Eva Le Queen will be sashaying with the Magic of Divas. UP Maroon Ricci Rivero will put the Magic of Game on display; while Macoy Dubs brings out the Magic of Skits and Ninong Ry demonstrates the Magic of Cooking with his own special flair.
In the coming days, Meta will also unveil creators showcasing the Magic of Art, Stand Up Comedy, Fashion, Makeup, Composing, R&B, and Podcast to represent just some of the diverse interests of Pinoys on Facebook and Instagram.
Aside from their feeds, people can watch out for their favorite creators as they share their talents and spread the magic on the beloved noontime variety show It’s Showtime. People can also look forward to pop-up Reels booths in the upcoming campus tour aimed to bring the magic to Filipinos on-ground.
