For a limited time only, users can earn bigger reward points that they can exchange for load, QR tickets,  and other special promotions via the beep app.

AF Payments Inc. bolsters its beep Rewards program to continue making daily commutes a rewarding experience for Filipinos. For a limited time only, users can earn bigger reward points that they can exchange for load, QR tickets,  and other special promotions via the beep app.

Apart from expanding its coverage nationwide, the beep Rewards program also introduces a new points system. Every PHP 1 spend using beep card wherever it is accepted earns one point, and 200 points earn the beep card user PHP 10. This includes buses, PUVs, convenience stores, select retail and food establishments, and now, even spend transactions at rail stations, namely LRT1, LRT2, and MRT3, are eligible. Only 200 points are needed to start redeeming rewards.

“Our transport partners network is continuously expanding. As we provide convenience and efficiency to our business partners, we also want to build better experiences for commuters. We enhanced beep Rewards to make journeying even more worthwhile for our customers and encourage more commuters to adopt cashless payments in transportation. We’re also looking forward to expanding to other kinds of digital financial transactions in both the government and private sectors to benefit more Filipinos,” said Sharon G. Fong, Chief Commercial Officer of AF Payments Inc.

Only cards registered in the beep mobile app downloadable on the App Store and Google Play Store are eligible to earn reward points. Customers may register up to five (5) beep cards per account, but points cannot be transferred between cards. Meanwhile, there is no limit to the number of points that can be earned per card.

To redeem beep load, go to the Rewards page in the beep app by tapping the medal icon at the bottom panel. Choose a card to redeem its points. The minimum redemption is 200 points, equivalent to PHP 10 load. Pending load can be successfully claimed via beep e-load stations or by directly tapping the card at the back of an NFC-enabled phone.

Users can also convert reward points to a beep QR ticket by selecting their preferred operator, route, and origin station in the app’s Rewards page. QR tickets with a value of PHP 10 or less can be redeemed for 200 points, while those worth PHP 11–20 can be redeemed for 400 points, and so forth. QR tickets expire in 24 hours from successful redemption.

Note that for either reward, redemption can only be done in multiples of 200 points. Stay tuned for more exciting prizes and special promotions in the future.
