PLDT’s data center expansion further builds on the future growth of its corporate data and ICT services, ensuring the delivery of services for businesses’ digital transformations, cybersecurity, and business continuity.

PLDT capped off 2021 with historic high revenues for its Enterprise business. PLDT is keen for another breakout year as the economy opens up following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite a challenged economic environment, PLDT Enterprise continues to serve the ICT and digital essentials that enable large companies and MSMEs to adapt to the new normal. Enterprise revenues grew to ₱42.2 billion, its highest reported earnings to date. Reporting annual yearly increase from ₱31.3 billion since 2016, Enterprise’s 2021 full year performance places it on track to a breakout this year.

“We anticipate Enterprise revenues would grow on the back of the gradual reopening of businesses and opportunities to serve the needs of global hyperscalers with our expanded data centers,” said PLDT and Smart President and CEO Alfredo S. Panlilio.

Within PLDT’s data or broadband service revenues of P139.7B for 2021, revenues from its ICT services grew 14% to P4.8 billion, while revenues from Corporate data increased by 6% to P22 billion in 2021.

To support the needs of Enterprise customers, PLDT has invested in fortifying its network backbone, expanding transport capacities for its domestic and international cable systems with unrivaled capacity of 66 TB and 19 TB, respectively, at the end of 2021.
