Gaming, content creation and business laptops assembler MSI unveiled its newest laptop innovations featuring the latest 12th Gen Intel Core H series processors, and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 series graphics cards designed to experience Metaverse-compatible performance.
The 12th Gen Intel Core H series processors, with up to 5GHz frequencies, 14 cores (6 P-cores and 8 E-cores) and 20 threads, are the world’s fastest gaming platform that can deliver up to 28% faster gaming than previous generation mobile processors. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and above series graphics cards, on the other hand, are based on the revolutionary Ampere architecture, with 2nd Gen RT cores for ray tracing graphics and 3rd Gen Tensor Cores for DLSS and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The new MSI gaming laptops also feature the 4th Gen of Max-Q Technologies with CPU Optimizer, Rapid Core Scaling, and Battery Boost 2.0 which use AI to shift power between the CPU and GPU depending on the workload. Apart from this, these gaming devices are cooled by a Phase Change Liquid Metal Pad for greater thermal conductivity to fully release the power of the new 12th Gen Intel processors, allowing for an up to 10% improvement in performance.
The laptops also highlight the AI engine that is capable of providing intelligent features. The MSI Intelligent Mode helps laptop actively feel the scenarios instead of asking users manually choose the usage modes. There is also the Ambient Silent AI which detects the ambient noise to adjust the performance level.
Stealth GS77/66
The Stealth GS series, which weighs 2 kilograms, are the lightweight laptops for gaming professionals. It comes with a durable zinc alloy hinge and features larger trackpads and keycaps for a more comfortable typing experience. The series is also equipped with six speakers for crisp treble and powerful bass, webcam lock switch and offer support for up to 100W PD charging for better security and mobility. The Stealth GS66 laptop, which comes with up to 64GB of memory and energized by 4-cell, Li-Polymer 99.9Whr battery, will be available to authorized MSI distributors and dealers in the Philippines starting February this year at a price of PhP209,995 (for Stealth GS66 12UG S-086PH), and PhP177,995 for Stealth GS66 12UG S-011PH.
Stealth 15M
Crafted in an all-aluminum chassis, the Stealth 15M is the lightest and thinnest 15-inch gaming laptop which weighs 1.8 kilograms and measures 18.2mm thin. The device, which runs Windows Home operating system, is equipped with up to 64GB of memory, and powered by 3-cell, Li-Polymer 52Whr battery. It also comes with a 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080 pixel) display. The laptop will be available to authorized MSI distributors and dealers starting February at a price of PhP114,995.
Raider GE76/66
The Raider GE series is the real eye-catcher, retaining the panoramic aurora lighting which creates an alluring sci-fi ambience. The performance of the GE series can reach up to a total of 220W with GeForce RTX 3080 Tivia MSI OverBoost. Both Raider GE76 and Raider GE66 laptops run Windows Home operating system, and are equipped with 64GB of memory and 4-cell Li-Polymer 99.9Whr battery. The Raider GE76 12UHS-228PH model, with a 17.3-inch UHD (3840 x 2160) display, is priced at PhP272,995, while Raider GE66 12UGS-020PH, with 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display, can be bought at PhP172,995.
Vector GP76/66
The Vector GP series was born with a new concept; the name “Vector” represents MSI’s expectation for the GP series to have all the power needed to move forward with a satisfying experience in gaming, engineering, or scientific computing. With Cooler Boost 5 Technology, Vector’s performance can reach up to 210W via MSI OverBoost. Both Vector GP76 and Vector GP66 run Windows Home OS and are equipped with 64GB of memory and 4-cell Li-Polymer 65Whr battery. Available in February, the Vector GP76 12UH-088PH is priced at PhP177,995 while the Vector GP66 12UH-095PH at PhP167,995.
Crosshair 15
A collaboration between MSI and Ubisoft, the Crosshair GL series features a futuristic design with exclusive sci-fi elements inspired by the feeling and mood of gameplay, and comes with Intel Core i9 processors and Cooler Boost 5 Technology. The Crosshair GL series comes in three variants: Crosshair 15, Crosshair 17, and the limited edition Crosshair 15 Rainbow Six Extraction Edition that comes with an exclusive bundle pack. Available in February, the Crosshair 15 B 12UG SZ-207PH and Crosshair 15 B 12UG SZ-206PH can be bought at a price of PhP156,995 and PhP135,995, respectively.
Pulse GL66
With titanium gray metal form factor and contour lines, the Pulse GL66 is designed for those who love sturdy and futuristic design. Weighing 2.25 kilograms, the laptop comes with 64GB of memory, 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display, and 3-cell Li-Polymer 53.5Whr battery. The Pulse GL66 12UEK-028PH will be up for grabs in the market at a price of PhP114,995.
Katana GF66
Aside from having Intel processors of the 12th generation and RTX 3070 series graphics cards, the Katana GF66 12UGS-269PH laptop also comes with a 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080-pixel) display, up to 64GB of memory and it is energized by 3-cell Li-Polymer 53.5Whr battery. The laptop, which measures 359mm(W) x 259mm(D) x 249mm(H), is priced at PhP125,995.
