Staying true to its vision to become a progressive partner in nation-building and its mission to improve the quality of life of Filipinos, St. Peter Life Plan, Inc. collaborated with the enterprise arm of Globe Telecom to kickstart its digital journey. Globe Business and St. Peter—the country’s leading Pre-Need memorial plan company—teamed up to enhance the latter’s services and launch its e-commerce platform, the St. Peter eStore, accommodating the need for safer and easier access to its products and services.
“We have been partners with Globe from way back when we were building our brand 20 years ago and we appreciate their support today, not only for our milestone—the St. Peter eStore launch but also in their continuing contribution to our digital journey,” mentioned York Vitangcol, St. Peter Group of Companies President & CEO.
Foreseeing the emergence of digitalization, even prior to the pandemic, St. Peter had begun to embark on its digital journey. In line with this was the timely opening of the industry’s first and only full-service online store.
Through Globe Business’ assistance, they partnered with AdSpark, Inc., an ad technology company providing media and creative expertise, which included media boosting services to create awareness and drive online traffic to their e-commerce website. St. Peter also acquired Globe Postpaid lines for inbound and outbound calls; enhanced broadband connectivity to ensure the continuity of its digital services, and Globe’s SIP Trunk to respond to incoming calls, in order to prepare for the public launch of the St. Peter eStore.
“We are very excited to work with a progressive company like St. Peter. Rarely do we encounter a corporation that should be considered traditional and yet breaks norms by thinking ahead and future-proofing their operations. Globe Business values the opportunity to work with an organization that’s so open to digital transformation and places its customers at the heart of its business,” shared Peter Maquera, Senior Vice President for Globe Business, Enterprise Group.
He further added, “We acknowledge the impact that COVID-19 had not only on enterprises but on families as well. Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones during this pandemic. We hope that through this partnership with St. Peter, we will be able to connect more families, so they can celebrate lives that were well-lived.”
As businesses slowly recover and people start preparing for the next normal, Globe Business continues to work with enterprises across industries to plan ahead and digitally transform their operations. The pandemic may someday become a thing of the past, but Globe believes that digitalization will remain.
