With this partnership with AT&T and Telus, Globe’s 5G roaming will service customers in around 14,000 US towns and cities and at least five major cities in Canada.

The telco also announced that it has launched 5G with additional roaming partners in South Korea with KT Corp as of May 14, Mobily of Saudi Arabia as of May 20, as well as Italy’s Telecom Italia by June 3, and China’s China Unicom by June 10.
With the addition of these new roaming locations and partners, this brings up Globe’s 5G roaming globally available for outbound customers in 16 countries and with 14 roaming partners: Kuwait and Qatar through Ooredoo; Saudi Arabia through STC and Mobily; Taiwan through Taiwan Mobile; Thailand through AIS Thailand; United Arab Emirates through Du and Etisalat; Hong Kong through CSL; South Korea through SK Telecom and KT Corp; Singapore through Singtel; Turkey through Turkcell; Oman through Omantel; and Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Estonia via the Telia Company.
5G can be experienced with Globe’s Roam Surf 399¹ which allows all-day surfing for Postpaid customers and 1GB of data for Prepaid customers for 24 hours upon activation. Globe’s 5G roamers need to make sure that they are within Globe’s 5G partner locations and using 5G-enabled mobile devices or handsets.
Globe’s partnerships with international telcos also covers inbound roaming and assures visiting foreigners from the following countries and subscribed to the following networks’ 5G coverage as long as they have 5G-enabled mobile devices in the Philippines: Thailand through AIS Thailand; Hong Kong through CSL; Kuwait and Qatar through Ooredoo; Singapore through Singtel; Taiwan through Taiwan Mobile; South Korea through SKT and KT Corp; Saudi Arabia through STC and Mobily; Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Sweden and Norway through Telia Company; and Portugal through Optimus.
