BPO firm Afni opens newest site in Phl

Located in Tower 5 of SM City Fairview in Quezon City, the newest site is proof of Afni’s commitment to business growth in the country.

US-based business process outsourcing company Afni, Inc. formally opens its third active site in the Philippines on Tuesday, October 27.

Located in Tower 5 of SM City Fairview in Quezon City, the newest site is proof of Afni’s commitment to business growth in the country.

Afni President and Chief Executive Officer Ron Greene said, “continuing to expand our Philippines’ operations is key to Afni’s long-term growth strategy.”

“We have found the amazing, hard-working people in the country align perfectly with our mission to provide best-in-class customer interactions for the global brands we support. We are proud to further our investment in the Philippines,” Greene added.

On expanding in the country

Afni opened its first Philippine center in Bonifacio Global City in 2012. The following year, it moved to Diliman Commercial Center in Quezon City to further strengthen its foothold in the country. In 2017, Afni opened its flagship site at One Felicity Center along Commonwealth Avenue, thereby helping grow its Philippine workforce to more than 6,000 to date.

As the company opens its newest site in the northernmost district of Quezon City, Afni is determined to continue attracting, engaging, and retaining young, passionate talents in the BPO sector – a notable development amid news of joblessness due to the challenges brought upon by COVID-19.

Khalid Khursheed, Afni’s vice president for operations in the country said the company “has come a long way since 2012 when we first opened in the Philippines.”

“We owe our success and growth to the fantastic people who call Afni home. Despite many challenges, we continue to set our sights higher and are confident that together, we will achieve even more,” said Khursheed.

As part of Afni Philippines’ hub-and-spoke model, the new site has more than 500 seats combined across two production floors and support spaces; four training rooms; two conference rooms; a huddle room; plus, reception, waiting, breakout, and clinic areas. The company is now actively recruiting new hires who will be part of the initial client programs to be hosted on the new site.
