Following the staging of Shopee 10.10 Brands Festival, online shopping platform Shopee kicked off the celebrations of this year’s biggest and most anticipated shopping event dubbed as the “Shopee 11.11-12.12 Big Christmas Sale, which features exciting shopping deals and discounts, promotions, and games starting October 21 to December 12.
Some of the key highlights of the campaign include free shipping day on October 21 to November 1, flash sales on November 4, Shopee payday on November 5, games day on November 9, and vouchers day on November 10. On November 11, shoppers can expect 24-hour of non-stop exciting shopping deals including free shipping with zero minimum spend, free 20% cashback on all categories, and up to 90% off on leading brands.
According to Martin Yu, Shopee Philippines’ associate director, the staging of Shopee 11.11-12.12 Big Christmas Sale expresses a strong sense of service with the following commitments: to create a positive impact for communities in need by fostering the Bayanihan spirit; to create new opportunities for growth, for brands and Filipino SMEs; and to create stronger experiences for shoppers.
In the past few months when the country remained under lockdown due to COVID-19, the importance of e-commerce was highlighted as more and more people shop online for their daily needs with foods and groceries being the most popular items for consumers. Shopee, likewise, elevates and strengthens its efforts in driving e-commerce activity in the country by helping sellers go digital, and creating a series of shopping campaigns that caters to the needs of their consumers.
The e-commerce platform, meanwhile, announced the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, as its new brand ambassador for Shopee 11.11-12.12 Big Christmas Sale.
As the new brand ambassador, Kris Aquino will participate in a range of initiatives for this shopping event including her highly anticipated on-screen appearances on TV and Shopee Live; engaging and entertaining Kris Aquino Tiktok videos on Shopee official account; mini-games on Facebook, Instagram, and Twiter where users can get the chance to win Shopee vouchers; and Shopee- themed Kris Aquino stickers on Instagram.
“Christmas is the biggest holiday in the Philippines, and we are excited to kickstart the celebrations with Kris Aquino as our new brand ambassador. Kris Aquino also teams up with Shopee as the face of Shopee Bayanihan: Pamaskong Pambata.
