Shopee unveiled its 10.10 Brands Festival, a campaign which put spotlight on brands that continue to adapt and evolve in the ever-changing e-commerce industry.
It will run until October 10, when shoppers can enjoy free shipping with no minimum spend, big discounts and deals from leading brands.
This announcement came just as Martin Yu, associate director at Shopee Philippines, cited that the second quarter this year saw an increase of 60% in brands on boarded on Shopee compared with the same quarter last year. This came about as Shopee provides a strong ecosystem or solutions to help brands and retailers launch, scale and succeed in their online operations, especially now that more businesses explore the potential of e-commerce during the pandemic.
“Now we have 18,000 brands across the region,” claimed Yu, citing that Shopee helps accelerate growth of brands and business with strong marketing and operational services. Yu also noted that brands can leverage Shopee’s expertise to better reach and engage with their customers.
With Shopee’s strong marketing and operational capabilities, Yu claimed that brands can further elevate their online presence and scale their e-commerce business. Brands can take advantage of free ads and segmentized and slashed deals, apart from increased exposures and traffic for consumers, particularly during big campaigns.
Three leading brands, Unilever, Realme and Alaska, share how they utilize Shopee’s robust suite of marketing and operational solutions, including in-app features and big campaigns to accelerate their business growth online.
Using ShopeeLive, Unilever spread awareness for its advocacy to help small and local businesses affected by the pandemic during its Beauty That Care Campaign last August. Unilever also uses other Shopee in-app features like Flash Deals and marketing solutions to reach a wider audience and build a seamless shopping experience for their customers.
Realme was able to amplify its exposure and increase its sales by using Shopee’s marketing services like ShopeeLive, banners and campaigns. This was achieved despite the limitation of selling channels during the pandemic. Realme routed its focus on e-commerce and gave more importance to offering affordable devices for communication, e-schooling and work at home with Shopee.
Alaska, on the other hand, has been working closely with Shopee to boost their brand presence online since March. To promote their products, Alaska took advantage of Shopee’s highly visible in-app spots such as the flash deals section, marketing tools, and big campaigns, and these helped the brand to grow 10 times compared with last year.
Consumers participating in the Shopee 10.10 Brands Festival will avail of discounts of up to 50% on leading brands, win exciting prizes via in-app games and many more. They can also look forward to deals from leading brands such as Infinix, Wyeth, Vivo, Unilever, Oppo, MamyPoko, Nestle, RB Enfagrow, Maybelline, L’Oreal Paris, Inspi, Havaianas, P&G Pampers, Johnson & Johnson, Abbott, Alaska, Realme, MetroSunnies, Garnier, Colgate-Palmolive, Mikana, Shigetsu, Organic Skin, Organic Official, Crown, and ACE.
